DAVID BROWN – Principal dbrown@bdgflorida.com
A principal of BDG, David serves as Managing Partner. He oversees site selection and entitlement operations for BDG.  He pursues acquisition and development opportunities throughout Southern and Central Florida, procuring and analyzing market research, demographics, trends and other key metrics to determine project viability.  He manages and negotiates all aspects of the zoning and platting processes for each of BDG’s various projects. He has more than 20 years of real estate development experience and has secured development rights and participated in the entitlement of more than 2 million square feet of commercial and residential use. David began his career as a commercial broker for The Doran Jason Group of Florida where he specialized in industrial properties.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida.  David is passionate about community service and animal welfare, and he is involved with several community-based organizations in South Florida.

Steven Brown is a principal of BDG who currently serves as a facilitator and advisor.  In the 1960’s, when much of the South Florida real estate market consisted of agricultural acreage, Steven Brown envisioned opportunity and potential.  Having completed his education at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, he began to develop multi-family residential sites, including the sizeable Calusa Country Club Estates, Briarwood Apartments, Kendall Village Apartments and many others.  As expansion along the Kendall corridor continued, Steven Brown added commercial ventures to his portfolio, developing many prominent community shopping centers as well as the first large-scale flex/office warehouses in Miami.  He went on to serve on the Board of Directors for Capital Bank, F.S.B. and for American Capital Corporation.  He continues to be involved and invested in the real estate market across multiple counties in South Florida.  The benefit of his vast experience and success in real estate has inured to BDG, as he is an active participant in the company with respect to negotiations, strategizing and development.
VICTOR BROWN – Principal vbrown@bdgflorida.com
Victor is a principal of BDG and serves as Managing Partner.  He is responsible for origination, analysis, underwriting, asset management, and execution of real estate investments and development projects.   Victor co-founded Budget Mini Storage with his brother, David Brown and his father, Steven Brown.  He oversaw the construction, financing and day-to-day operations of 16 mini-storage facilities encompassing more than 1.8 million square feet and employing almost one-hundred personnel.  He negotiated and oversaw the lucrative sale of these facilities to Public Storage in 2004.  Prior to BMS, Victor formed and operated Groshire Construction Company of South Florida which engaged in reconstruction of residential and commercial projects in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew.  Victor holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida.  He is a life-long resident of the South Florida area and is involved in various philanthropic endeavors.
